I'll stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
